As youth and their families have been closer to home during the COVID-19 pandemic,\u00a0Lakefield Youth Unlimited (LYU) is offered an initiative to encourage families\u00a0to work together to create positive memories.<\/p>\n

Using chalk, families were asked to draw their concept of HOPE on their\u00a0driveways or sidewalks and then submit a photo to the lakefieldyouthunlimited Facebook\u00a0page or email them to Sarah:\u00a0sarahj@youthunlimitedkaw.com<\/a>\u00a0(submission date has now passed). Sarah (LYU Elementary Outreach Worker) and volunteer judges announced a winner and dropped off prizes on April 1st.<\/p>\n

Chris Jones, Lakefield Youth Unlimited\u2019s Satellite Director, wanted to bring a small piece of hope and fun to the Lakefield community \u2013 hoping that as community members\u00a0drive around the village of Lakefield they will see these signposts of encouragement during a difficult time.<\/p>\n
