With a full house and incredible community support, the event exceeded expectations, raising an outstanding $28,000—surpassing the original goal of $25,000. The evening brought together community members, local leaders, and supporters for an inspiring night dedicated to helping Lakefield Youth Unlimited continue its mission of empowering young people in the community. Attendees enjoyed a delicious meal and powerful stories about youth and families who have benefited directly from the programs and support offered by Lakefield Youth Unlimited. Caleb Posthumus, Jr. High Outreach Worker, had 15 youth from his Student Leadership Team interacting with guests, serving the tables, and bringing a positive vibe to the event. The funds raised will support a variety of initiatives, including leadership development, mental health resources, operational costs and recreational programs for young people across Lakefield and surrounding areas.
Lakefield Youth Unlimited extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, volunteered, and donated to make this event a remarkable success. Special thanks go to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 77 for providing the venue, Jesse’s Tap and Grill for the fantastic chicken dinner, our table sponsors and hosts and to the many local businesses and sponsors whose generous contributions make our work possible. Lakefield Youth Unlimited looks forward to continuing its work and building on this momentum to reach even more youth and families in need.

Ways to Donate:

In Person
LYU Barn/Kawartha YU Office 25 Bridge Street, Lakefield (during office hours or use black mailbox to the left of the front door).

By Phone
Kawartha YU Office (705.743.2900)
Credit cards can be processed over the phone

By Mail
Kawartha Youth For Christ, 256 Brock Street, Peterborough ON K9H 2P7
or
Lakefield Youth Unlimited, PO Box 1178, Lakefield ON K0L 2H0

E-Transfer
Send to donate@youthunlimitedkaw.com
No password required; in memo line write “LYU Dinner”

Online
at lyufundraiser.com

Please Note

Make cheques payable to “Youth Unlimited” and memo “LYU Dinner”.

Whichever form of donating you use, please provide your full name and mailing address for tax receipt purposes.
