West Island Ministries create communities for kids, teens and young adults to form healthy relationships, challenging them to become the best versions of themselves. \u00a0Young people are empowered to break through the barriers in their lives and discover their worth and God\u2019s unique purpose for their lives. \u00a0They are discovering new ground, in their lives. \u00a0Far too often young people\u2019s potential lies dormant, unrecognized and blurred. \u00a0We believe in the unlimited potential of EVERY young person and use sports, art, discussion groups, and events to see this become a reality in a young person\u2019s life. \u00a0Our dedicated staff and volunteers journey alongside young people, coaching, mentoring and guiding them in the challenges they face. \u00a0It is exciting to see young people breaking new ground in their lives\u2026discovering their amazing potential and becoming a redemptive presence in their world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t

Jesus Nights – Youth Rally<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Jesus Nights is a vibrant and fun evening that happens at a West Island Church every 2nd Friday night of the month (7:00pm \u2013 10:00 pm). \u00a0At youth rally, youth from different churches and schools come together for fun games, good food, an amazing worship time together and a teaching time. \u00a0Youth develop and deepen friendships at youth rally and grow in their understanding of who God is, His love for them and His purpose for their lives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Day Camps<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Unfortunately, due to building renovations, we are not able to run day camps at Terra Nova in 2026, but we hope to be operational in 2027 and to see old friends, and make new ones too. Please check back with us next year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

the MENTORING project<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Navigating life as a young person is challenging. This project brings young adults together with seasoned adults to create relationships that challenge and encourage both members to become more like Jesus every day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Missions (Emmanuel)<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Our staff are invited into classrooms to share on life, faith and leadership development! One such example is a partnership with Emmanuel Christian School to help launch the \u201cLove your neighbour\u201d movement which endeavours to see 21,000 acts of kindness performed between Valentines day and Easter!<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Common Ground<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Common Ground Young Adults allows for Young Adults (CEGEP-35y\/o) of various church backgrounds to come together, united by Christ to grow in enriching community on the second Wednesday of most months. Heavenly Hues<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Heavenly Hues is a community event that happens once a month, geared towards reaching young people at all points in their faith while exploring God’s creativity and finding comfort in their creative gifts.<\/div>\n

Montreal Youth Unlimited believes that whole-person care is essential to ensuring young people thrive as they grow.
