Summer Discipleship School 2023
Discipleship school is for individuals who want to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus, understanding their identity in Christ and how to live on mission for God.
It is 8 weeks of teaching, training and equipping in living the Christian life, including outreach experience, empowering opportunities, serving, evangelism and prayer.
This school will grow you, challenge you and promises to be a life-changing experience. You will leave this time changed and filled with deep revelation of who you are as a child of God in this world.
You were made to LIVE—fully alive in Christ!
Who: Discipleship School is geared towards young adults between the ages of 16–21.
What:
- 8 Weeks of teaching and engagement along with additional outreach and Christian growth opportunities during the week
- Tuesdays 1–4 pm: teaching sessions
- Wednesday afternoons: discipleship time
- Wednesday evening: worship and encounter nights
- Outreach and service opportunities throughout the week
- YFC Outreach events including summer BBQs, programs, and movie nights
- Evangelism outreach
Where: Multi-purpose room at The Bridge Youth Centre, 256 Brock Street, Peterborough
When: Tuesdays, 1–4 pm, July 4–August 26, 2023
