Performing Arts<\/h2>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Our mission for QYU Performing Arts is to create safe places for students of all ages to engage with their creativity, faith and each other. We want to develop the hope and potential of each student. It has been our privilege to be able to provide consistent programming since 1982!<\/p>\n

The life-long benefits for students who engage in the dramatic, musical, or movements arts includes increased confidence and empathy as well as the increased abilities to adapt and problem solve. Our joy is to get to know the person behind the art and to help them flourish artistically, socially, spiritually and .mentally.<\/p>\n

From\u00a0summer camps<\/strong>\u00a0to annual\u00a0high school<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0junior high<\/strong>\u00a0programs, we have several opportunities for children and youth to engage with the arts.<\/p>\n

For alumni and post high school artists, we produce a dinner theatre annually to fundraise for our arts programs. Students do not need experience to join any of our programs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Quinte West Youth Chorale<\/a><\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Spirit Borne<\/a><\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Spirit Borne is a faith-based program open to all high school students with or without experience, and provides training and experience in dance, drama, voice, lighting, audio, video, band, and peer leadership skills.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Opening Act Student Theatre is a theatre arts skills training program for Grade 5-8 students provided in a safe environment where students can grow in confidence, commitment and communication.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Masterpiece Performing Arts Camps are day camps that provide kids with the opportunity to engage in drama, music, movement and fine art. \u200bNo experience necessary. Masterpiece Camps include healthy snacks and lunches made onsite. For campers in grades 3-8!<\/p><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
