My faith journey began in early childhood when my mother would read the bible to me before bed, which introduced me to God. My family attended church briefly, however that ended when my parents divorced. instead of drawing me closer to God it become more difficult as I walked the journey solo in my household. After the divorce I attended a local youth group where I was bale to get a greater understanding and foundation. I always knew of God, and felt his presence in my life, but my understanding was still developing.<\/p>\n

In 2017, my faith grow stronger as I came across a random video online of a lady sharing her personal experience. She was an atheist and had fallen into witchcraft. One day she received a message from Jesus, and from that message she repented of her sins, gout out of witchcraft, and devoted herself solely to Jesus. As I watched I felt something overpowering come over me. I was deeply convicted with her repentance and I began repenting for everything that I could remember from my past. I began going through my home, removing anything that I felt could be connected to witchcraft, idolatry and anything that no longer aligned with my faith. As I was was going through my home, repenting while gathering things to discard, I was overcome with emotion and was crying uncontrollably and made a firm decision to follow Jesus, wholeheartedly, without hesitation. That was the moment I truly felt the Holy Spirit’s presence. Before then, I knew God and believed in Jesus, but this experience brought a deep, internal and innate understanding that transformed my relationship with Him. It became personal, alive and undeniable.<\/p>\n

Today, my relationship with Jesus Christ is intimate, continually growing, and rooted in complete faith. I am trusting in him fully, even without seeing the whole path, or understanding, knowing that He is leading me every step of the way. Which has brought me to YFC South Island. As a certified private investigator, I have dedicated my life to finding missing children. I understand the emotions of loss that includes personal identity as a teen having gone through my parents divorce. Many teens today struggle with understanding of who they are and where they belong. They suffer with lack of direction and purpose and even love.I am excited to join the team at YFC SI to share my experience and understanding who God is and His unconditional love for all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

I joined YFC South Island in 2013, taking on the role of Executive Director with a vision to bring God’s message of hope to every young person. Knowing that I cannot do on my own, I have been looking for people that i can trust: people that can grow and develop ministries with youth that I can work closely on a daily basis. Klarke comes with an incredible story and heart for young people.<\/p>\n

As a YFC missionary, Klarke needs your support. I’m excited to have leaders such as Klarke join our team, and I am asking you to come along side as a financial partner to support her with your monthly gift and daily prayers as she connects with youth in the Nanaimo region.<\/p>\n
