Over the past while, she has been consistently volunteering at Backstage, and in that time she has become a trusted, steady presence among the youth who come through our doors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At YFC Steinbach, youth workers do more than run programs. They build long-term relationships with young people, creating a safe place where youth can be known, supported, and challenged as they grow. This happens through everyday conversations, shared meals, mentorship, and simply showing up week after week through the highs and the harder parts of life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Amy does this naturally. She connects easily with youth, listens carefully, and brings genuine care to every interaction. The youth trust her, and it shows in how they open up and engage when she\u2019s around. She has a strong ability to make people feel seen and welcomed, which is essential to this work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We are excited to see Amy step into this role.
