Thank you so much to the many who have partnered with us in this development project. We are excited to see what God has in store for this new space.

About the Project

Youth for Christ is centrally located at Higgins and Main Street, and many youth in this area live in poverty or are at risk of homelessness and ultimately become targets for gangs, prostitution and the drug trade. They are tempted by perpetrators with the promise of a better lifestyle and offered a way out by participating in one or more of these unhealthy activities. Many get trapped in this cycle of poverty and addiction. These youth need the hope Jesus offers!

The goal of our campaign is to open the area in front of the YFC building up with a beautification project that will enhance the area and make it more appealing to the community at large. . The project will expand much needed parking space for staff and volunteers and create a much safer environment outside for youth using the facility. The space will include better lighting, better visibility and will include easier access to YFC off Higgins Avenue with a drop off loop for parents and/or buses.

It is our hope that these improvements will encourage more youth and families to explore our facility and access the programming being offered, getting them involved in healthy activities and away from the temptation of street life.

Our goal is to help every young person coming through our doors to find the hope and potential they have in Jesus! We believe if we can journey with them through their challenging teenage years, and equip them with the resources, support, and tools they need, more of our young people will grow into healthy, capable adults.
