Club Basketball<\/h2>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

We have two purposes with Club Basketball:<\/p>\n

Our purpose with Club Basketball is that every young person is able to come and grow in their knowledge and skill level in basketball while having positive, passionate influences and coaches in their life. If you find that you were not able to make the local club team you will find a place to grow in your skills at YFC. If you find yourself unable to afford the club fees elsewhere you will find a place at YFC, cost should never be a barrier.<\/p>\n

Our Mission is to see every young person living fully in Christ, we desire to take care of the whole person through growing physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We long to see all young people thriving in their hobbies and passions while being a light in their sphere of influence. At Club Basketball you will find coaches who truly see the hope and potential in every young person<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

YFC Winnipeg is running Youth Boys Club Basketball <\/span>for ages 13-17 (Grades 8-12)<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

The 2025<\/span> season will go from September 18th – December 11.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursdays 6:00 – 9:00pm<\/span><\/p>\n

Cost: There is no cost.\u00a0 Come out and play<\/span><\/p>\n

Location:\u00a0 333 King St.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How the practice\/evening runs:\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Once in the gym you can grab a ball or partner up with someone and start to warm up.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Once everyone is warmed up the coach(s) will run you through a few training drills.\u00a0 Our intent is to help you get better and build skills.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Once the drills are complete we will have a brief \u201cteam time\u201d where we will take a few minutes (10-15 minutes) and one of our coaches will share something practical about life and faith.\u00a0 Our desire is to develop your character and your game.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Once we complete our \u201cteam time\u201d we will make teams and play a few scrimmage games.\u00a0 Since this is the first year for YFC Club Basketball we will make new teams every week for scrimmages.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Important Information\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>\n

    –\u00a0 When you attend your first basketball sessions you will need to fill out a waiver so please bring a parent or guardian to fill it out and sign it.<\/b><\/p>\n
