Matt Fretz

Matt has a lifetime of experience in the print finishing industry and spent many years serving youth in the Whitby area. He brought students together with music and art by providing events throughout the year. Students gained confidence showcasing original work, received encouragement, and heard the gospel. Matt still loves to record and release music for himself and other artists.  He recently left his successful role of ‘Associate Pastor’ in a local church, where he spearheaded outreach opportunities and programs to bring people together.

Matt will be focusing his time in Lindsay, assisting team members to build initiatives that will support more youth. He hopes to partner with business leaders to make a positive impact and liaise with community-minded people, while raising awareness and growth in the work that is being done by KLYU.

Matt loves boating, summer sunshine and a freshly cut lawn. His favourite thing is eating ice cream cones with his wife Karen.  He’s never met a taco that he didn’t like. He is definitely not allowed in a music store without supervision.  If you see him unattended, please call Karen.
