Nola Harbut shares some memories of her history with Youth for Christ.
She shares how her family was very involved with YFC from the time she was around 10 years old. Her father was a blind, singing evangelist, her mother was a vocalist and fast chalk artist, and she and her sisters sang and played trumpets and accordions as The Musical Neales. They travelled through the ’50s to Winona Lake and all around the US and Canada representing YFC, often on radio. They met Billy Graham and Torrey Johnson and many of the other speakers and leaders of YFC back in that era.
