Shane Wiebe currently serves at Stratford, a satellite of the Southwestern Ontario Chapter, as the ministry director. Shane began his involvement with YFC when he was a youth himself, where he was impacted by the servant hearts of the Youth Unlimited Abbotsford team.

I can’t remember the exact name of the program, but a double decker bus used to come and park in our parking lot at Abbotsford Junior Secondary School once a week during lunch hour. My friends and I would go hang out and chat. It was a safe place, and it was a heck of a lot of fun too!

Later, Al McLean of Youth Unlimited Abbotsford became a dear friend and mentor (in my senior high years). Al had a massive role in my spiritual formation. He made me feel, well, normal and loved. I just remember how much every single young person he met seemed to mean the world to him. He was Jesus to us. He saw us!
