We are pleased to announce a new and exciting program with Northumberland Youth Unlimited.

We are calling it Youth with a Purpose. The vision is to create a community where youth ages 10-14 come together to be a part of a group that wants to learn new skills such as crocheting, sewing, and other craft forms. All the while working towards projects and goals they can give back to others in their lives and in the community.

It is a small group setting with 6 youth every 8 weeks.

We will meet on Monday evenings from 6-7:30 pm – Snack provided

Beginning Feb 2,2025. The cost is 25.00 every 8 weeks.

The second part of the group also includes youth learning the “art form of listening.”

Finding your purpose is a life long journey and we would love the opportunity for the youth to learn to intentionally experience being heard and to practice listening to each other.

Listening to others builds a bridge over our differences and into community. Relationships grow, and supportive connections are made: courage is found, and people discover who God made them to be.

Which in turn gives youth the space to learn who they are and discover a life with a Purpose!
