We are pleased to announce a new and exciting program with Northumberland Youth Unlimited.

We are calling it Youth with a Purpose. The vision is to create a community where youth ages 10-14 come together to inspire each other to learn new skills, such as crocheting, sewing, and other craft forms. We will be running two groups.

Monday night 5 to 7pm will focus more on sewing and crocheting.

The second one will be Thursday nights 5 – 7 where we will be exploring the graffiti art form.

The second part of the program encourages the development of entrepreneurial skills by creating a craft table at a local venue. This initiative empowers youth to fund their creative projects, gain confidence, and contribute to their community by giving back where they see a need.

Finding your purpose is a lifelong journey, and we would love to have an environment where youth are open to heart-to-heart conversations about this and realize they are not alone as they discover they were made with a purpose!
