Leader In Training

Dive in and learn what it really means to be a leader, how to strengthen your faith through serving, sessions, and practical application.

Learn to teach a variety of skills such as basketball, soccer, climbing, kayaking, mountain biking and more!

And ultimately learn how to be a great camp Cabin Leader!

All while being surrounded by an amazing Christian Staff team that strives to uplift and encourage one another!

Age: 15-17

LIT program will run from July 6th – July 25th 

  • Arrival – 4:00 pm July 6th before campers show up 
  • Weekends – will stay at camp
  • Pick up (If they are leaving and not staying for the rest of the summer) is at 4:00 pm July 25th after LIT graduation 

The LIT program consists of:

  • 2 weeks of learning and 1 week of being a junior cabin leader
  • 1st week: learning about important leadership skills for camp, a basic overview of the bible, sessions on sharing a testimony, teaching devotionals, understanding the church and the importance of servant leadership. They will also do practical servant leadership as they help in the kitchen, cleaning the lodge, help on maintenance, and helping in the tuck shop.  
  • 2nd week:  there will be a combination of learning and putting what was learnt into practice by leading 1 skill during the day and joining a cabin for their cabin kickback. Still serving in the tuck shop, dishpit, and helping clean the lodge.
  • 3rd week: LIT’s jump into the cabin as a junior LIT leading a group of 6 campers, with the help of one of the senior cabin leaders.
