What is the cost to rent Cedarwood Camp and Retreat Centre?
Please see our pricing chart for retreat prices.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cedarwood Camp & Retreat Centre reserves the right to cancel the rental agreement at any point. In the event that Cedarwood Camp & Retreat Centre has initiated the cancellation of an event, a full refund will be processed for any payments made including the security/damage deposit.
In the event the individual/organization decides to cancel the event, it needs to be done so in writing by either the primary contact or authorized representative of the organization. If this is done the security/damage deposit will be forfeited along with any other payments made to date (including but not limited to 50% of the estimated balance due 90 days in advance of the event).
If the rental can be re-scheduled on a date within a 90 day window of the original booking, any forfeited payments will be transferred to the rescheduled rental agreement. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
If a cancellation is forced due to a government mandate or to inclement* weather, Cedarwood Camp & Retreat Centre will work to find an alternative date within 90 days to reschedule the rental and transfer any payments made to date to the new rental agreement. In the event that a new date is unable to be found, then a full refund of any amounts paid, excluding the security/damage deposit, will be issued.
(*Inclement weather is defined as weather events which prohibit travel to Cedarwood Camp & Retreat Centre site beyond what is reasonably acceptable as defined by the Province of Manitoba or Environment Canada. Such events would include road closures and special alerts/warnings against travel. In order to cancel an entire rental the warnings/closures would need to be active for the majority of the time of the rental. For example, the Province of Manitoba issues a travel warning for the roads leading to Cedarwood on the Friday of a rental that runs from Friday evening to Monday afternoon. The warning is lifted Saturday morning. The expectation is that the group would arrive Saturday morning/afternoon and the rental agreement would be adjusted based on the new times. In the event the warning was lifted on the Sunday evening, the majority of the rental time has passed and there would be no expectation of the group to come. At that point Cedarwood Camp & Retreat Centre would work with the group to find an alternative date to reschedule.)

Can you accommodate dietary or medical food restrictions?
Cedarwood’s kitchen staff work to accommodate most dietary needs as long as they are given enough notice. Groups are asked to submit their allergy form 2 weeks in advance. Group leaders are encouraged to contact our office earlier if someone has a large list of allergies, or unique dietary needs.
