This isn’t just a trip—it’s a deliberate step deeper.

As we return to Christian Island and travel into the Mennonite communities of Millbank and Milverton, our goal is not just to visit—but to slow down enough to truly know the people there.

That means:

• Sitting in real conversations, not just passing through
• Listening to stories, not just capturing footage
• Learning how different communities live, work, and see the world
• Building trust, not just content

We’re not going in with an agenda—we’re going in with curiosity, humility, and a desire to understand.

What We’re Actually Doing on the Ground

During this journey, we will:

• Spend intentional time with people in each community
• Ask honest questions about life, faith, culture, and identity
• Capture these experiences through film—not as observers, but as participants
• Reflect on what we’re learning in real time

This isn’t about highlighting differences—it’s about discovering connections where we don’t expect it.

Why This Matters for Youth

The youth we work with are growing up in a world that is:

• Deeply connected online
• But increasingly disconnected in real life

Many have never had the opportunity to:

• Sit across from someone with a completely different way of life
• Ask questions without fear
• Experience what real, human connection looks like outside their bubble

Through this project, we’re creating something different:
