Seth has always had a passion for serving youth and building community. After he moved to Orangeville in 2024, he discovered Youth Unlimited | YFC Highlands drop-in program at The Door through a church connection. He began to volunteer there a few times a month, building relationships through music and art. Drawing on previous experiences working with youth as a program assistant at a skills and activity centre, both he and the staff found he fit in quite well. He became a member of the Highlands team a few months later. Seth sees his work with youth as a natural expression of the love he draws on every day: “God’s unending love gives me the assurance, peace and confidence I need to navigate the hills and valleys of this life – and to respond to my calling to minister to the youth in our community.” He lives in Orangeville with his wife, Bonnie, who is a pastor and their young son, who is a budding paleontologist.
