Youth Outreach Worker

Andrew began serving with Kawartha Lakes Youth Unlimited in 2018 as a volunteer Sensei running a martial arts program in Fenelon Falls at a local church.  In 2021, Andrew left full-time municipal work to pursue part-time ministry with KLYU.  He leads our martial arts program on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in Fenelon Falls and Lindsay.  He continues to be connected with his sister club in Coboconk, Shizuka Na Arashi Bujutsu (Peaceful Storm Martial Arts).  He currently assists in the classroom environment at Fenelon Falls Secondary School.  He is also the head coach for two basketball teams and readily assists wherever the school sees a fit.  He continues to mentor youth outside of the school and martial art classes and share the love of Jesus with them in the community.
