Kelsey Watts is the Managing Director in the Bancroft Youth Unlimited Satellite, locally known as “The Switch Yard Youth Center”. The Switch Yard has been an important cornerstone for youth work in Bancroft for over 25 years.

When COVID-19 closed the doors for The Switch Yard, Kelsey and the volunteers knew that some of the youth they saw on a regular basis would not have access to meals for their families. So, they pivoted – Kelsey and the team created a “Meals Program”. Using grocery cards donated by local churches, the team purchases ingredients, and meals are prepared in a local certified kitchen. They then deliver them weekly to the families that they know through the Drop-in program.
