LYU House

The LYU House is operated as an extension of the mission and vision of Lakefield Youth Unlimited/Kawartha Youth For Christ and contains individual apartments. LYU house is situated on a peninsula bordered by the beautiful Trent-Severn Canal and Otonabee River.

The LYU House has two individual apartments, which meet the need of affordable housing in Lakefield for youth and families. Beyond just providing a place to live, it is our hope to offer support to our tenants with educational, emotional, physical, and spiritual matters, as needs arise.

This will be our last season with this property as the owner has decided to sell. The tenants and LYU will be vacating the premises on October 31, 2024.

Lower Rental Unit

Unfurnished one-bedroom apartment containing kitchen, living room, bathroom, and laundry facilities. Also includes a private outdoor deck.

Upper Rental Unit

Unfurnished three-bedroom apartment containing a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, and laundry facilities. Also includes a private outdoor deck.
