Mele (Gisèle) worked in Togo for eight years, providing support to pregnant women, a very fragile and vulnerable population there. She had the desire that God had sown in her heart to share with the women she met how much they were loved by God and encouraged them to keep their faith despite the challenges. She was also always involved in various prayer groups for the sick. Mele (Gisèle) enjoys taking part in retreats and prayer groups. The Alpha course has helped her grow a lot. She is actively involved in her church, providing technical support.

“When you receive Christ in your life, your life is transformed,” Mele (Gisèle) believes. And it’s through this belief that she decided to join the MYU team so she could share with the young people she meets that this transformation can be possible in their lives too.
