Laura Bronson is a speaker, evangelist, and artist. Her involvement with YFC began at the early age of 14, and she is currently serving YFC with a passion to bring Jesus into the lives of all youth, through the program Keep it Real.
In high school when I was 14, we had a club where 30-50 of us teenagers would squish into my math classroom at lunch. Every week we ate free pizza together while we watched a YFC video series called Quest. We had great discussions and prayer! It was a great way for me to grow in my faith personally and it was a neat way to connect my non Christian friends to Jesus, as I often invited them to come.
After highschool I joined a YFC program called Launch. I was able to meet up one on one with a coach every month for a year and we talked and prayed about how God could help me to achieve my dream. I wanted to teach art and skate lessons to younger kids who never came to church. The YFC staff helped me to grow in my leadership skills, so that I could run a week-long skate camp in my city. I now run weekly programs in Waterdown and share my love of skateboarding and Jesus with the youth.
