Cheer Crew is a place where youth come together to experience the power of encouragement. Encouragement is a powerful tool that impacts individuals and communities by fostering resilience, inspiring hope, and building confidence.

We are pleased to announce a new and exciting chapter for Cheer Crew.

We have had an extraordinary adventure for seven years cheering on the Cobourg Cougars and forming lifelong friendships within this community. We hope to continue this relationship, but we will no longer be in the Arena on Monday nights.

This new phase of the Cheer Crew is in the form of a Craft Group. We are calling it “Girls with a Purpose Cheer Crew.”

The vision remains the same: a place where young people ages 9-13 feel they belong while learning new skills, including crochet, knitting, sewing, and woodworking. They will cheer each other on, give their creations to others, and experience the power of encouragement!

We plan to expand to a high school-aged group, focusing on marketing and entrepreneurship skills. Stay tuned for the start date in the fall.
