Enjoy an afternoon of creative connections, learn how to do a new craft/art form, create a beautiful gift to take home, and connect with friends, new & old.

Northumberland Youth Unlimited presents a Creative Fundraiser in support of the Creative Arts programs that run under the labels: Created to Create, and Youth With A Purpose.

The Registration fee of $50 will cover the cost of materials, with the extra fees being split evenly between the two programs.

Your Art Form Choices:

Gelli Printing

Gelli Printing is a fun, easy form of monoprinting that uses a soft, reusable gel plate to make unique art on paper or fabric. We will create cards, pictures, bookmarks, and more…

Jewellery

Jewellery Making – design a necklace, bracelet, and/or earrings or possibly one of each for yourself or a loved one.

Kinusaiga

Kinusaiga – is a traditional Japanese art form where an artist creates colourful, textured pictures by tucking fabric scraps into grooves cut into a board. This requires no sewing or glue.

We ask you to choose one of these art forms upon registering so we are prepared for the correct number of artists that afternoon. There are ten spots available for each option.

Snacks will be provided and at the end of the afternoon you will have something to take home to enjoy for yourself or to gift to someone special at Christmas. You will also have a new art form that you can practice at home.

Will you join us for this creative afternoon?

Thank you from Connie and Christine, Program Leaders, NYU Staff
