Create Club is a joint club of Youth With a Purpose and Created to Create, both programs of Northumberland Youth Unlimited.

Youth between the ages of 10-14 years are invited to choose either:

1. Crafts with Connie, or
2. Stop Motion Animation with Christine

The Program will run from 3:00 pm – 5:45 pm on Wednesdays and is located at First Baptist Church at 57 John St, Port Hope. You can register below. Registration is $45 per youth.

Create Club offers adult supervision, by both staff and volunteers of Northumberland Youth Unlimited. Youth will work on a project (crafts) or a video (SMA) each Wednesday, with a brief break for a snack and God Talk Time.

We recognize that youth will arrive at different times because of the different end times of the local schools. If a child comes in late we will work to catch them up on anything they might have missed during the instruction time.

The program will begin September 23rd and end on November 25th. There are 20 spots available.

Stop Motion Animation with Christine

Learn how to use your tablet/smartphone to take pictures and assemble them into a stop motion video. Your creative side will be challenged as you create a story by making it look like an object such as a mini figure can move and jump. We will also look at Claymation during our creative sessions together. Each youth that signs up for Stop Motion should have access to a tablet or smartphone with the Stop Motion Studio Pro App loaded on it. If this is not possible please contact christine@nyfc.org and we can arrange to have a device available to use.

Crafts with Connie

Connie will have a craft per evening to work on. Skills will be demonstrated and volunteers will help guide youth through the steps. All supplies are supplied by Northumberland Youth Unlimited.

Craft and Video Show

For our last Wednesday we will invite parents and friends to come and view the crafts and videos that have been created by the youth of Create Club.

Limited Space

Thee are 20 spots per group total (10 per group). We are asking that youth choose before coming to the first evening so we can be prepared for the number of youth interested in that medium. Please register below. There is a registration fee of $45.00 per youth.
