It’s been beautiful to see the ways that God is working in the lives of the youth in the Talwood area. On the last day of the Elementary After-School program in June, one of the youth said “Maddie, I’m going to pretend to be you.” I prepared for potential embarrassment. To my amazement, he began to recount the gospel to us. This solidified to me that the youth were really taking in all that I was able to teach them, and that God is moving within them.

During the summer months, we partnered with Cephas Church to run a kids’ cooking program. This was a program that God truly put together, and at the end of the summer three of our youth committed their lives to Christ. I know that as we kick off our fall programs God is going to continue to work in marvellous ways, and I can’t wait to share all that He does this year.
