I have been a full-time youth worker for 14 years and am absolutely ecstatic about joining the YFC South Island team as the new Peninsula Youth Worker in North Saanich this August! In my different leadership roles, I have helped develop teams and programs, cared for hurting young people, and have seen God love in powerful ways to effect the lives of the youth He has brought into my life.

Being close to family is a huge blessing in coming to the region as my wife, Katie, and I have 2 daughters that will enjoy being near their grandparents. A core belief of mine is how discipleship begins at home and we’re thrilled to have the care and support of our family there. Additionally, I believe in the importance of youth having access to spiritual community and striving for unity in the greater body of believers.

I can’t wait to begin partnering with the people, churches and community groups to see the region built up in faith and transformed for Christ. God is calling young people on the Saanich Peninsula into life giving relationship with Him and I intend to be in the flow of His next move!
