YFC Nanaimo was founded in 2012 by Paul and his daughter, Tessa, and currently partners with numerous churches throughout the city in the work of God. Paul’s passion is to develop leaders to carry out the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18 by fulfilling the Greatest Commandment of Matthew 22:36–40 through the mission and power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:18,19).

As the Area director for YFC Nanaimo, Paul’s thirty plus years ministry and business experience enables him to oversee the staff and YFC ministries of Nanaimo. These include school clubs, church youth groups, drop-in centres, a Farm Youth Activity Centre, and Adventure Camp.

YFC Nanaimo ministers to hundreds of youth, with a strong emphasis on community youth and indigenous youth and their families. Adventure Camp and other programs open doors for many youth who would have no other access to the gospel. Paul’s heart for evangelism keeps the programs focused on building new faith in the many who encounter Christ at YFC.
