Charlotte is a Concurrent Education student at Queen’s University, and has just finished her first year! Charlotte’s ministry journey began in high school, where she founded and led a Christian club called Faith Factor, dedicated to sharing faith in a positive, welcoming way. Her experience in this leadership role deepened her commitment to supporting others in their faith and community development.

This year, she embarked on her journey with Highlands for her placement and was thrilled to be invited back in the summer to extend her work with the organization. Charlotte is passionate about helping young people grow in community and take their next steps of faith, particularly because youth ministries and youth pastors played a significant role in shaping her own personal faith journey.

As Intern for Highlands, Charlotte will be working alongside ministry staff throughout the early summer gaining experience and working in practical hand on tasks learning the ins and outs of Highlands as an organization and ministry. Growing up in Grand Valley, Charlotte is especially excited to return back home to her local community to serve both the Grand Valley and Orangeville locations. She sees this as a unique opportunity to give back in direct spiritual ways to her childhood community and peers. As Charlotte continues her work with Highlands, she is excited to support young people in their own faith journeys, helping them build strong, supportive communities along the way.
