Critical Care

Supporting youth experiencing systemic vulnerability.

We engage with the most vulnerable youth in our society by offering hope for tomorrow. It is during challenging circumstances where an encouraging word, needed supplies, or a bowl of soup can have an eternal impact.

Here are some examples of how Critical Care programs are used to connect with the needs of local youth:

  • Unexpected pregnancy support
  • Young Parenthood
  • Food support
  • Breakfast & Lunch Programs
  • Free baby and maternity items for young parents
  • Mental Health Supports
  • Help for recently immigrated families

“Options has impacted my life more than I can ever explain, I love everyone I met and I am so forever grateful to have such an amazing, not even group of friends but family. When I had no one by my side, Options was always there to help me walk through any difficult times I had. Labour, apartment hunting, fights with my boyfriend, being nervous about an exam, ANYTHING, they were there no matter what. I am so thankful to have such an amazing group of women in my life. Not only do they help with young parents, teenage moms, and single parents, but they help the babies too. Receiving baby clothes, diapers, wipes, EVEN FORMULA to give them away FOR FREE to all of us that need it. This group has helped me and my daughter on countless occasions when I had nothing. Thank you Options!” – Hadley N, participant at Options Resource & Pregnancy Centre for Youth
