“ The highlight of this trip was when we visited the school. I loved how the kids opened up to me; they treated me as their big sister. They wanted me to play with them. During my trip, God told me to be just with people and to treat them equally. He did not want me to judge the book by the cover. At first, I thought that it was going to be impossible, but after all, it wasn’t that bad.”

“The highlight of my trip is probably meeting all the amazing people throughout the week. I’ve learned so much about not only Belize and the families, but also myself; I have grown as a person. Also, all the kids at school were so amazing, nice and fun and I’m so happy and blessed I met them.  Throughout this trip, I’ve learned that God shows Himself in many different ways and all of them are amazing and perfect. I feel like my relationship with God has improved significantly and I’m so glad I got this opportunity.”

“Today we went on a jungle survival with Lazarus and I learned so many survival tips. He taught us what plants are edible and what they did. We ate sugar cane, sour cane and even termites. The termites tasted like mints and weren’t as crunchy as I thought they were going to be. It was very fun to explore the jungle and we even got to use machetes. I feel like a survival expert now after our jungle trip.”
