Elementary Outreach Coordinator

I have been involved in youth ministries my entire life. From being part of every church ministry team possible, to helping run mid week programs for elementary students, and being a counselor at youth camps every summer. I have spent most of my life working with, teaching, and helping elementary age youth learn about and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Becoming the elementary outreach worker and being part of the team that has opened the Hub Youth Centre on the west side of Peterborough has been nothing short of amazing, God has been doing amazing things throughout my life and my time in ministry. When I am not at the Hub Youth Centre you can often find me at the Curling rink competing or helping to teach people who are new to the sport. Or at home, in the field, or a tractor helping out on the family farm.

From farm hands to God’s plan, that’s how I have lived my life. I come from a family who live farming. Yet God had a different plan for my life. Ministry of any kind, especially youth ministry has always been a part of my life, from teaching Sunday school, attending youth conferences both as a youth and as a leader, and spending every summer as a counselor at youth camp, some of my best memories are from being a servant for God. As one of the newest additions to the YFC team I take great pleasure in being the elementary outreach worker, and being part of the team at the Hub Youth Centre on the west side of Peterborough. From where I started to where I am now is undeniably God’s plan. He has orchestrated everything and brought me here to YFC Peterborough. When I am not at the Hub Youth Centre, you can often find me at the curling rink, either competing, or being an instructor. Or back home, on a tractor helping out on my family farm. I never imagined this is how my life would be at this point, but I decided to trust in God, and he has done more than I could have ever imagined.
