My name is Art Schroeder, and I started working at YFC September 1st 1999. YFC was a great fit for our family because it aligned with our passions of sports and youth ministry. I spent many years running sports and outdoor programs before transitioning to the role of Executive Director in 2015 and continue that role to this day. I continue to be very involved in the lives of youth and the community through a variety of partnerships and programs.

I am married to my wonderful wife Jen and we have three adult children, Adrienne, Erica, and Matthew. I am excited to see where God leads the team and community of Portage in the coming years.
