Do you love youth and want to help shape their lives? Even if you don’t want to work directly with youth, you can still help. Here is some information about how you can get involved as a volunteer. ​Contact a staff person in your area to discuss volunteering options.

NOTE: Those volunteering directly with youth will be interviewed, screened (including submitting a Police Vulnerable Sector Check), and trained.

DIRECT YOUTH VOLUNTEER

For those with skills and abilities to work directly with youth locally. Here’s some way you could serve:

• Event chaperone
• Mentoring
• Leadership groups
• School ministries
• Missions trip leader
• After school programs
• Program support
• Transportation & drivers
• Host an event / program
• Cooking & baking
• ‘Behind the scenes’ stuff
• Small group leader

INDIRECT VOLUNTEER

This is for those who want to help without direct contact with youth. Here’s some ideas:

• board of directors or a committees
• fundraiser events
• administration
• food provider
• stuffing newsletters
• Pray (top priority)
• equipment maintenance
• event support
• volunteer coordination
