Welcome to YFC Regina, Youth Unlimited Housing Program! My name is Stacey MacQueen. I come from a background of Trauma-informed and Youth centred care. I am a mother of four young adult and teenage children. As the Housing Director, I am proud to oversee our four homes: Evan House, Jedidiah House, Jordan House, and Ezekiel House. Each of these homes is designed to provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where youth can thrive.
In Housing, we believe that a stable and supportive housing experience is foundational to our youth’s personal growth, and our programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of all youth in our care. Our objective is to empower youth by providing a safe place to live, guidance and resources they need to build a brighter future. Our housing programs are built on the principles of support, cultural heritage, mentorship, community engagement. Each house creates an atmosphere of belonging, where youth can develop meaningful relationships with peers and caring staff who are committed to their well-being.
By offering life skills activities, educational support, goals and opportunities for personal development, we aim to provide our youth with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges as they work towards independence. We encourage our youth to set goals, explore their passions, and take an active role in shaping their own paths forward.
As the Housing Director, my role is to ensure that our programs continuously adapt to the evolving needs of our youth. I am dedicated to creating a collaborative environment where youth feel empowered to voice their aspirations and challenges. Together with our incredible team, I am committed to leading an environment where youth can unlock their potential and build a bright future.
