WHO ARE WE?

Youth For Christ Moose Jaw is a non-profit Christian organization that seeks to come alongside local youth and families to provide safe and stable programming surrounded by meaningful relationships.  We believe in the HOPE and POTENTIAL of all young people and as such want to help youth become all that God has created them to be and for them to experience a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.   We also want to equip and inspire them to make a difference in their own lives, in their families and in the community surrounding them.

Youth For Christ Moose Jaw is a Satellite Ministry Site of Youth For Christ Regina, which in turn belongs to a larger group of organizations under the umbrella of Youth For Christ Canada.

OUR MISSION

To see the HOPE and POTENTIAL in every young person we encounter.  Our ministry is involved in responsible, effective, and culturally sensitive evangelism of youth, communicating and caring in ways that are relevant to this generation.

OUR VISION

To see every young person living fully in Christ. We work in partnership with the body of Christ to see every young person in every people group in every nation have the opportunity to make an informed decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ and to become a part of a local church.

OUR PASSION

Provide safe and stable ministry opportunities where youth encounter the love and gospel of Christ and where youth, staff, and volunteers are given the opportunity to grow in their faith, their confidence and their leadership abilities.

SATELLITE SITE

You might be wondering why YFCMJ is a “Satellite Site” of Youth For Christ Regina.  Essentially it means that we operate under the authority and supervision of YFC Regina which provides us with some significant benefits:

• Team work, collaboration, training and support: The satellite relationship allows us to benefit from the experienced staff and board at YFC Regina, participate in shared training events and to support, pray for and encourage one another.  We highly value these things and the partnership we have with YFC Regina.
• Efficiency and Cost Savings: By using the current financial, HR and admin support already in place in Regina it allows us to quickly and cost effectively begin operating YFC Moose Jaw without the need to double up on essential administrative and accounting services.  We value every dollar that is donated and so want to make sure we are stewarding it all in the best possible way.
