I joined the YFC Steinbach team last summer and it felt like a natural next step. I’d already been volunteering here, so by the time I came on full-time as a Youth Worker at Backstage, the relationships were already forming.

Over the past year, those relationships have grown into something I really value. A big part of my role is walking alongside the young women at Backstage, showing up consistently and creating space where they feel safe to talk about what’s actually going on in their lives. That’s the work I love.

I’m grateful to be part of a team that genuinely cares about youth, and I’m excited to keep building on what’s already happening here.
