Hello! My name is Oliver Yuzek, and I am excited to serve as a full-time youth worker with YFC in Blumenort. Since The Mill opened in the fall of 2023, I have been volunteering weekly and have enjoyed building meaningful connections with the youth. My journey began as service learning for college, but it quickly transformed into something I didn’t want to miss weekly. A verse that has inspired me is John 1:5: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” I was blessed to have leaders at Bible Camp and Youth Group who helped me discover Jesus’s light, and now I aim to do the same for the youth at The Mill. Outside of my work, I love playing sports, strumming my guitar, enjoying the outdoors, and hanging out with friends.
