Ted Bendell currently serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors, and has served on the Board of the youth centre essentially since its beginnings in 2005 as The Open End Youth Centre (with the exception of about one year). As one of his ministries, he drafted the new incorporation documents for the Youth Centre that included its becoming a Chartered Chapter of Youth for Christ Canada. He also serves as a Deacon at Bible Fellowship Assembly.
Ted came to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in February of 1972 and was involved in pastoral ministry in one of Canada’s largest denominations from that time until the summer of 1989. He continues to be an occasional preacher (mostly at Bible Fellowship Assembly) and is also active in leadership of a small Bible study group.
Ted is married to Peggy (more than 40 years!) and together they raised four sons. They are the proud grandparents of three beautiful and exceptionally talented grand children. Ted has been employed as an electrical engineer since 1993 in various consulting engineering firms in Timmins and Peterborough.
