The Hideout is in the centre of Virden. We see the hope and potential in every young person. It is our hope to see every young person in our community living fully in Christ.  We believe that all youth are equally valuable in the eyes of God.

The Hideout is a space where all youth are welcome. We work to create a safe place that youth can call their own. A space to hang out with friends, be active and be supported by caring adults. This includes board games, video games, a pool table, street hockey, as well as a canteen. Come join us for a great time of fun and friendship!

Youth for Christ launched in Virden in the 90’s, believing that the best in young people can be discovered and fostered through intentional relationship and community involvement. Around 2010, YFC bought the current building that The Hideout is in.  

Kyle joined Youth for Christ in 2014. After Bible School, he knew his calling was to lead the next generation of youth towards Christ. Youth for Christ was the perfect fit for him. Kyle loves Star Wars, any board game and Jesus. He knows his Bible and theology and wants youth to know Jesus like he does.  “Creating a community of Hope, where no young person goes hungry; spiritually, emotionally, physically or relationally”.
