Evan Kary is is originally from Saskatoon, SK. He has been working with WYFC since June 2020 and is loving every moment of it! He comes from a strong family background of youth and young adult workers, and grew up with both of his parents providing holistic support to those in need in their communities. Evan’s heart has been directed to walk alongside the vulnerable members of society for a long time now. He can still remember at 14 years old in high school, when he truly experienced poverty in a third-world country and again the next week in the city he called home. Graduating with a Bachelors of Social Work and working in the social service sector for the last few years has further confirmed Evan’s calling to continue his work with youth. He and his family have been living in Brandon MB coming up on two years, and have been fortunate enough to recently commit to a house that really lets them call Brandon home. His life is now full of opportunities to get out there and help youth in our community.
