Mental Health First Aid training
As we walk alongside young people and families, we often encounter struggles that go beyond what we feel equipped to handle. The Mental Health First Aid course provides practical tools to recognize when someone is hurting, respond with wisdom and compassion, and guide them toward hope and healing. Rooted in a heart of care, this training reminds us that God calls us to be His hands and feet—offering comfort, breaking stigma, and shining His light in the midst of difficulty.
Offered through Opening Minds (Mental Health Commission of Canada), this certified 9-hour training provides participants with the knowledge and skills to recognize early signs of mental health challenges, respond to crises with confidence, and connect individuals to appropriate supports. MHFA is designed for anyone who wants to foster safer, healthier communities by reducing stigma and increasing awareness around mental health.
As a certified facilitator with Opening Minds, I am passionate about equipping people to care for others in the area of mental health.
