Our Executive Director, James Coolidge, will be stepping down from leadership this Fall. James is sensing God leading him in a new direction to empower community leaders outside of YFC London. When joining YFC London as the Executive Director, James had committed to a 10-year term and has now served for over 11 years.

During his time with YFC London, James has provided leadership that focused on community outreach, youth development, and addressing basic needs within the community. He introduced new programs such as the indoor skate park, youth café, sports and recreation programs, life and employment skills training, and a variety of discipleship programs. He developed and maintained strong community partnerships with the City of London, community resource centres, and youth agencies. These programs and partnerships provided opportunities to resource and holistically support youth in our city to discover and reach their potential.

James is working closely with the board during this transition and will continue to lead the organization during the recruitment process. He continues to serve on staff with YFC London into the Fall, providing leadership and maintaining relationships while allowing time for the search committee to recruit a new Executive Director.

We are working with Nelson/Kraft & Associates Inc. for our executive search. If you know a leader who may be an ideal fit, please direct them to our employment opportunities page where a complete position description is available.

These are exciting days as we see new opportunities to reach and serve youth. We are confident that God has selected our next leader and are looking forward to how they will lead YFC London into the next decade.
