To Our YFC Community,

We would like to share an important update regarding an upcoming leadership change at YFC London. After much reflection, our Executive Director, Joel Timmerman, has discerned that God is leading him into a new season of ministry outside of YFC London. As a result, he will be stepping down from his role this summer.

Throughout his time with YFC, Joel has deeply valued being part of a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. He has especially appreciated the opportunity to care for our community in a holistic and meaningful way. One of the most rewarding aspects of his leadership has been supporting and encouraging the team as they carry YFC London’s mission forward. This team remains well-equipped to continue making a significant impact in the community.

Joel will be working closely with the YFC board to ensure a smooth transition and will continue to lead the organization during the recruitment of a new Executive Director. He will remain on staff during this period, providing steady leadership and maintaining key relationships while allowing time for the search committee to identify the right person for this role.

We will continue to keep you informed about the ongoing work of YFC London and will update you as we move through the process of welcoming our next Executive Director. In the meantime, we invite you to join us in thanking Joel for his faithful service and commitment over the past three-plus years.
