JUST A REMINDER OF WHAT YFC DOES: 

We provide a safe and welcoming place for youth to experience the God who created them, the Jesus who loves them, and the Holy Spirit who is always with them. 

We do this through connecting in community and building relationships built around programs that build life skills and are also a lot of fun! 

Compass Basketball, through a team of coaches and volunteers, uses basketball programming to provide opportunities in schools, after school, and on competitive teams.  Coach Jay and the team provide youth with somewhere to belong, someone who believes in them, and something to believe in bigger than themselves. 

Cafe Connect provides work and volunteer opportunities for youth to gain skills within a Cafe setting, giving critical work and life experience to help them later in life.  Dorothy, Kat and their team of volunteers provide space for youth to receive mentorship, coaching, and life skills to be used in the marketplace. 

Youth Connect is built around relationships and community, both in local schools, our youth centre at 254 Adelaide Street South, and in local churches and other community organizations.  Weekly programs and special trips and events provide opportunities for mentoring, relationships, and walking alongside through the complexities of life’s journey.
