Originally from Fisher Branch, Manitoba, Wayne spent his early years working with youth in his home community. As a young adult he moved to Tennessee where he was involved in youth ministries for 3 years. Throughout the following years he worked in the construction industry for 12+ years, served as a school education assistant, and spent many summers at bible camps. His walk with God has been a foundational part of his life. In all seasons he has learned to bring Jesus wherever he goes.

Wayne got married to his wife, Leanne, in 2016 and they moved to southern Ontario. They have 3 amazing children (Annaliina, Zion, and Esther) who they homeschool and have been following God’s adventure for their family. He loves “divine appointments” and sharing the gospels wherever he finds himself. As a family they are excited for the next chapter with YFC Camp Cedarwood!
