Levi started volunteering with YFC Selkirk in 2022 while in high school. He worked in the after school program supporting kids from grades 4 to 6. When he first started volunteering, his heart broke for the youth. He wanted to create a safe place for them to be able to just be kids.

After graduating high school, he went to Lifeteams School of Youth Outreach in British Columbia. There he saw how rewarding and meaningful youth work can be, and felt called to do more. After he finished the program and returned home, he felt God was calling him to work with youth at YFC Camp Cedarwood.
