Location: Camp Cedarwood
Year of Completion: 2024
Project Cost: $100,000
As our facilities continue to age we continue to do our best to keep them running well. We have taken on many upgrades to the camp over the years but one of the more costly upgrades (which is mostly not visible) is our HVAC System. Cedarwood uses a geothermal water furnace system for heating and cooling the majority of the property. Outside of that system are the traditional forced air units or baseboard heaters.
Over the next decade or so we will be tackling replacing these units as they come to the end of their lifecycle. The geothermal water furnaces and forced air units will be replaced with newer more efficient models. Baseboard heaters will be removed and replaced with forced air systems. The first phase of this project was to take on replacing/upgrading 5 units.
