The Carman expansion project upgraded and expanded our current Youth Centre including electrical, mechanical, interior finishes, a new concrete ramp, new equipment, and furniture. The current space went from 2000 square feet to 6400 square feet, and will allow for more programs to develop, more staff to lead them with room for more youth to enjoy them. The average capacity was 20 to 30 students prior to development and now we are seeing 60 to 75 students in the evening. The new space offers new programs like indoor basketball for youth to enjoy in the winter. The new commercial kitchen and added space will continue to attract different groups of youth to help build community.
