The youth center in St-Pierre-Jolys was originally an old movie theatre that we converted into a functional youth centre. After many years of steady use, our building is in need of some upgrades.

• Phase 1 – Upstairs Renovations included creating much needed office space, a multipurpose room and a music room with a recording studio.
• Phase 2 – Kitchen Refresh included upgrading the canteen and kitchen area to serve and prepare food for programs.
• Phase 3 –  Our final big update to the facility, bringing the project to its completion. It includes:
  ENTRANCE & EXTERIOR – Updating our worn and deteriorating exterior with a brand new timberframe entrance, new doors, windows, signage and fresh paint, making our building more inviting and appealing to newcomers.
  INCREASED FUNCTIONALITY – Maximizing underused spaces to suit our needs: new built in seating that doubles as extra storage cabinets; repurposing space under staircase; renovating our vestibule to create space for boots, shoes and jackets; adding sound dampening panels.
  GREATER ACCESSIBILITY – An exterior wheelchair ramp, and an accessible push button for the doors.
  LIGHTING & INTERIOR – Updating the dim movie theatre lighting with more light fixtures, new windows and fresh paint to provide a warmer, brighter environment.
  ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY USE – Our refreshed and more functional space will be sought after for group rentals and events such as: birthday parties, sports team windups, family gatherings and school groups greatly blessing the community of St-Pierre and surrounding area!
